Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) joined her Senate colleagues at a press conference today to highlight the thousands of new, good-paying jobs in her state as a result of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law she helped write and pass.
“What we have done in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is invest in clean energy, good-paying jobs that are booming in Nevada,” said Senator Cortez Masto. “In this law, I fought to strengthen our critical mineral supply chain and create great job opportunities in battery manufacturing and recycling right here in the U.S. to support Nevada families.”
As part of her Innovation State Initiative, Senator Cortez Masto has consistently worked to create good-paying clean energy and technology jobs across Nevada. She wrote important provisions of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support bolster Nevada’s critical mineral supply chain, support new clean energy jobs, and fund battery manufacturing and recycling programs across the state.
