PREPARING FOR AND PREVENTING WILDFIRES “Cortez Masto spoke about the Western Wildfire Support Act. She introduced the legislation last month to help prevent wildfires, fund state-of-the-art firefighting equipment and programs and support recovery efforts for communities impacted by fires. It’s part of the massive infrastructure spending bill still awaiting approval in the house.
