Las Vegas, Nev. – Today Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) toured the Pitney Bowes mail processing center and spoke with employees about her work to pass the Postal Service Reform Act and support Nevada’s booming logistics industry. Pitney Bowes employs over 300 Nevadans, and the company is growing thanks to Senator Cortez Masto’s work to support diversifying Nevada’s economy and her vote to pass bipartisan postal reform that has increased stability for the mail, print, e-commerce, and packaging industries.
“I’ve championed economic diversification in Congress, and worked with my colleagues of both parties support Nevada businesses,” said Cortez Masto. “Pitney Bowes supports over 200 good-paying jobs in Nevada by working with businesses across the country that depend on timely and reliable shipping. I helped pass essential postal service reforms to support key businesses like this and make they can reach customers and suppliers alike and keep our economy humming.”
