Reno, Nev. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) today toured Head Start and workforce development programs at Community Services Agency (CSA) to learn more about the services CSA provides to the Reno community and discuss her commitment to support federal funding for critical early education and workforce training programs.
“The resources, training, and programs that Community Services Agency provides have helped empower the Reno community for more than 50 years. I’m especially proud of the work they have done to provide quality childcare and early childhood education for families in need and to connect residents with job opportunities and specialized training programs. Ensuring Nevada children, young people and families have the resources and federal support they need to achieve economic security will continue to be a top priority of mine in the Senate, and I look forward to continued partnership with agencies like CSA who are working every day to help Nevadans thrive.”
