Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) and Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) applauded a $1,684,013 grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to increase the treatment capacity of Nevada’s Medicaid providers to furnish substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and recovery services.
“This grant will provide important funding to better equip Nevada Medicaid providers to care for Nevadans with substance use disorders. We’ll continue to support federal programs that increase the effectiveness and capacity of Medicaid’s substance abuse treatment services because Nevadans struggling with addiction must have access to resources they need to recover.”
