Reno, Nev. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) today joined the local organizers, downtown casino properties and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada as they delivered meals, including a hot Thanksgiving meal and Mobile Harvest produce, to Nevadans in need.
“I’m so proud of the diligent work done by local organizers and downtown casinos to lend a helping hand to Nevadans in need during Thanksgiving. It was a pleasure to join local volunteers in supporting Nevadans in need this Thanksgiving, and hearing from them on how best I can advocate for them in the United States Senate to end hunger in our communities throughout America. I’ll do all I can in the Senate to ensure that we’re providing these support organizations with the funding and resources needed to keep our communities safe and healthy.”
