Reno, Nev. – On Saturday, U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) attended an immigrant resource fair at Little Flower Catholic Church in Reno. She met with community partners, church officials and congregation members to discuss her new Immigrant Resource Guide, which helps Nevadans navigate the immigration system, learn their rights, and access immigration, medical and crisis services in Nevada.
“Every day I’m reminded of the sacrifices made by my grandfather who crossed the Rio Grande in search of a better life for his family, and of my Italian great-grandfather who came to this country for the American Dream. I’m proud to support the immigrant community in Nevada, and across the country, by providing critical resources and attending important events like this immigrant resource fair. I’m committed to helping all Nevadans, and I encourage communities throughout Nevada to seek the services my office provides and to utilize my Immigrant Resource Guide as a helpful tool to learn about their rights and resources.”
