Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) released the following statement after Senate Republicans unveiled their latest bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act:
“Republicans need to stop playing games with the healthcare of Americans and the millions of lives that depend on the Affordable Care Act. Their desperate attempts do nothing to improve access or decrease costs, but instead will cause premiums to double while leaving half of all Americans without individual insurance options. There is only one way out of this mess: work with Democrats and build on the successes of the existing law. Republicans must quit endangering the lives of those they represent.”
