Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) released a new digital walkthrough showing Nevadans how to go online and sign up for health insurance on the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange.

“Open enrollment began on November 1st, this means that Nevadans have from now until December 15th to go to healthcare.gov and select an insurance plan that is right for them and their family,” said Cortez Masto. “Many people believe that signing up for a plan on the exchange is a long and complicated process, or that plans are too expensive for most families to afford. That couldn’t be further from the truth; many people are able to find a plan that will cost them less than $100 per month. I encourage every uninsured Nevadan, and those who are already on the exchange, to review this video, find a plan that best serves your unique needs, and sign up for a quality, affordable, and comprehensive plan.”

Nevadans may visit www.nevadahealthlink.com to complete a pre-screening questionnaire and sign up for an in-person appointment with a health navigator who can teach them more about the options available and answer their questions.
