Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick and Colonel Craddock, the Commander of Nellis Air Force Base, accompanied Senator Cortez Masto on a tour of a Nellis Air Force Base housing complex.
Las Vegas, Nev. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) toured a military housing complex on Nellis Air Force Base to highlight the efforts being made to improve military housing for active duty service members and discuss future ways to prioritize the housing needs of Nevada’s service members.
“I am proud to be working with Nellis Air Force Base leadership to improve the quality of their privatized military housing complexes. My recent legislation, included in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2019, will further support the work being done to ensure military housing in Nevada continues to meet quality standards by calling on the Department of Defense to increase oversight of privatized military housing projects. I am determined to continue working with our military personnel to guarantee that all service members and their families have access to the quality, affordable housing options they deserve.”
