Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) released the following statement after voting to move forward with negotiations on legislation to help Nevada families.
“I’m focused on giving working Nevadans a break, and that means cutting taxes for the middle class. I want to make sure that any legislation we pass through the budget reconciliation process is a good deal for Nevadans. Today, I voted to begin this important discussion, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to support middle class families and help them recover from the coronavirus pandemic.”
