ICYMI: Cortez Masto Shows How Infrastructure Deal Will Make a Difference for Nevada

In Case You Missed It – U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) traveled across Nevada during the in-state work period to highlight the bipartisan infrastructure package she passed and the impact this historic investment will have on Nevada communities. The funding Cortez Masto secured in this bipartisan legislation will help create thousands of new jobs for Nevadans, strengthen the local economy, boost the clean energy sector, and address two of the greatest environmental crises facing Nevada: wildfires and drought.

She introduced the legislation last month to help prevent wildfires, fund state-of-the-art firefighting equipment and programs and support recovery efforts for communities impacted by fires. It’s part of the massive infrastructure spending bill still awaiting approval in the house.
